Who is Rugged Circuits and why you should consider Rugged products and services

Rugged Circuits was created to provide industrial grade Arduino solutions worthy of investment. Period. Standard Arduino products are great but have a fragile nature which can lead to quick destruction and the need to keep re-investing in hardware. Rugged products improve Arduino platforms by integrating safeguarded circuitry to reduce failure, re-investment, and downtime. We are a small business focused on providing great products and customer support. Our products employ innovative circuitry and are built in Grand Rapids Michigan fueling the US economy.

Product-wise we started in 2007 with our first product, the Ruggeduino, and have since expanded our line to where it is today spanning multiple Arduino platforms. We provide unbeatable solutions to everyone from students to industrial giants. This means everyone has access to the same great products and benefits. A university student can use the same hardware that is being used to power products above and below the Earth in just about every market imaginable! That’s how we think it should be.

Service-wise we offer engineering design services for custom turn-key products. Whether your company or project is small or large, we can assist in taking your Arduino or non-Arduino idea from just an idea to a marketable product. We have made a reputation for ourselves through our customer support, robust products, and engineering services over the years, and we look forward to earning your trust.

Our Rugged safeguard features PROTECT your bottom line

Our philosophy is to provide ruggedized, durable, and innovative solutions for customers who need more from the Arduino platform.  We started by designing our products with as many protective features as possible.  These safety features protect against user mistakes and environmental stressors- ESD, vibration, power surges/brownout, atmospheric variables, temperature, to name only a few.  

Next we decided to handcraft the equipment in the USA.  Rather than mass producing products elsewhere, we carefully craft the hardware with some aspects completed by hand.  Our manufacturing runs total in the hundreds, and not the thousands.  Doing this allows us to continually refine the products to keep them as advanced as possible with the highest performance specs and keep pricing low.  We always try to keep enough product in stock, but at times our products may go out of stock temporarily as we adjust to the demand.  Always feel free to contact us to see when an out of stock item will be replenished.
